Cedar Creek is dedicated to producing high quality Australian Shepherds who are pretty enough to win in conformation while being athletic and versatile enough to train in any performance activity from agility to herding to flyball to obedience. I strive to produce healthy dogs, sound in mind and body. A structurally sound dog is nothing without a good personality and vice versa. I get complete OFA and CERF evaluations on my breeding dogs to ensure that they are free from eye, hip, stifle, elbow, and shoulder defects and I strive for the best temperaments around. I also highly encourage earning a CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) at the very minimum for a happy, well-adjusted dog.

I was introduced to this breed in 2002 by a good friend, Denise Walters of Dreamstreet Aussies. I took one of the puppies home to socialize her away from her sister and needless to say, she never left. Riley is a true "watcher", who cues in to my every mood and lives her life to please. She's a very mild mannered dog who makes friends where ever she goes and is a wonderful ambassador for the breed. Now, I am hooked and will never own another breed.
